Hello, let me introduce myself


I am a licensed clinical social worker and psychotherapist with 40 years experience in various mental health and counseling venues. I graduated from the University of Michigan with a degree in Nursing (BSN) and Wayne State University with a master’s degree in Social Work (MSW)

Supervisor (and psychotherapist) of the outpatient treatment program for alcohol and drug dependency at Henry Ford Hospital, Maplegrove, W. Bloomfield, Michigan in the early 1980s

Private practice psychotherapist, fulltime, since 1983 in Birmingham, Michigan

Training and supervision in a variety of treatment approaches including cognitive-behavioral therapy, psychodynamic psychotherapy, family systems, diagnosis and treatment of addictive disorders, humanistic theory and practice, treatment for trauma-based disorders, and group work
